Uploading Resources

brew lets you upload your own files onto the system and share them with others — useful when you have a local dataset you’d like to use inside a brew workflow.

To add a file to brew and use it within a workflow, drag and drop the file onto the canvas.

Note

Not all file types are supported — see the CV Types table in Common Vocabulary. If you have a file type brew doesn’t support, contact the brewlytics team at brewlytics@n-ask.com.

After selecting Upload, your file is uploaded to brew and can be used within your workflow. It’s also saved as a resource you can share with others and reuse in other workflows — for example, connecting a CSV resource to the “CSV to Table” functional to convert it into a CV_Table.

Once a file is loaded onto the canvas, you can share it with others: find the resource in the properties pane and open its access controls to add users or groups to its ACL, or manage your groups from the same panel.
